May 02, The Rear Upper Control Arm Bushing Tool makes it much easier to change the rear control arm bushings at the differential.

The bushings are a press fit in the differential housing and are difficult to access. They are especially difficult to change if you are trying to do so without removing the rear axle assembly from your car/5.

Hold the sway bar link in place while tightening the nut with the wrench or socket and you are all set.

Jul 23, This week my new BMR's are coming in and was wondering what is the easiest way to remove and replace the top bushing?

all insight is apreciated. Is there any special removal tools i need? i have a large gear puller but i dunno if that will help or not. Feb 07, I have a Metco upper control arm and bracket to install and am thinking of replacing the upper bushing on the rear end housing.

What's the easiest way to remove this upper bushing? What is the best bushing to replace it with that will give me the quietest ride? I have a lift so accessing the underside of the car will be easy.

Dec 02, Use an air chisel to remove one side, and then remove the shaft. Beat the other side out with a hammer. To install use a socket to cover the bushing and drive them in with a hammer.
